It Takes Courage
Beginning your healing journey takes courage. The work we do together at Moving Mountains is designed with your strengths, needs, and goals in mind. My approach to therapy is grounded on the values of safety, trust, collaboration, and empowerment.
Together we will create meaningful therapeutic goals that will foster independence and empower you to move toward restoration and healing. Whether you are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, family issues or big changes in your life, together we will explore your life’s themes and patterns and create new ways to face challenges.

Teens
The teen years can feel overwhelming. I am passionate about helping adolescents discover who they are in a world that often tries to define them. I support teens through trauma, anxiety, depression, and the challenges of adolescence, helping them find hope and confidence as they move toward healthy adulthood.
Parents, if you’re seeking a therapist for your teen, I understand the challenges of adolescence. I build genuine, supportive connections with teens through authenticity and humor, helping them feel comfortable while supporting you through this season.
Women
Women in life’s transitions. Whether graduating high school, finishing college, entering the workforce, or stepping into a new season; I’m your hype girl! Together we’ll focus on your strengths, build confidence in your decisions, and practice self-compassion as you move through change.
As a mom, therapist, and woman navigating midlife myself, I believe this season is an opportunity to redefine how women view aging. Midlife is not a time of becoming less; it is a time to recognize the wisdom, strength, and lived experience you carry. If you are seeking support through this transition, I am here to help you reframe and embrace this chapter with confidence.
Young Adults
Young adulthood can bring exciting opportunities along with uncertainty, pressure, and change. I support young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, school, work, faith, independence, and mental health. Together, we’ll create space to process what you’re carrying, build confidence in who you are, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want to create.

EMDR
I offer EMDR as a psychotherapy technique with my clients. EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing is a therapy technique that allows the brain to process and heal from past traumas. We all have had experiences that impact how we show up in our lives.
These experiences often create rooted beliefs that can impact how we perceive ourselves in the world and in our relationships. These beliefs can often be barriers to enjoying a full life and healing from past trauma. Through EMDR root causes of negative core beliefs are identified and healing occurs. If you would like to learn more about EMDR, take a moment to view this video from the EMDR International Association.
Office Buddies
Meet Opal Jane, the Wild Ween. She is periodically in the office and loves to snuggle, be pet, and twirl. Yep, I said twirl…Opal was born deaf, and she is currently in training to be our next office buddy. Much like my clients, she is also on her own journey of progress and understanding the world around her! She would love to meet you.
Daisy The Adventurer. She is the O.G. office buddy setting the standard for all future office buddies. Must be sweet, cuddly, ready for adventure, and of course a dachshund! Thanks for all the Love Daisy May!
